The World's Largest Smoke Sauna

Today the SAUNA is a symbol for every Finn, it is part of our identity.

Like a spiritual experience, it is something that cannot be described but has to be experienced!

We are the proud owners of the World's Largest Smoke Sauna beautifully situated by the pond overlooking the Igloo Village with room for over 100 persons in two separate saunas. Each sauna has its own relaxation room with an open fireplace, showers and WC, able to cater for large groups. The large terrace adjoining the two saunas is a great place for cooling off and in the winter you can even take a dip in a hole in the ice.

In the sauna building we have a large restaurant where we can arrange, by request, dining for up to 100 persons on, amongst other delicacies, salmon or traditional reindeer cooked in front of the guests' eyes in the large open fireplace. The restaurant is also an ideal location for conferences, with our without the sauna experience.

In addition to the big Smoke Saunas, every cabin of the Hotel Kakslauttanen is equipped with a sauna.
