Santa Claus

Lapland is the land of Santa Claus. We Finns believe that he lives in Lapland at the Korvatunturi Fell with his wife and many thousand little elves.

The main day for the Santa Claus is of course the Christmas Evening and Day when he travels around the world with his reindeers giving presents to the children. Rest of the year Santa reads the thousand of letters what he receives every year, listens his elves reports and of course enjoys the peaceful Lappish nature.

It is possible also to meet Santa Claus while visiting Lapland at the Santa Claus Village near the Arctic Circle or even at the Hotel & Igloo Village Kakslauttanen.
