Restaurants

Hotel & Igloo Village Kakslauttanen has four different Lapland restaurants: Savusauna-restaurant in the Smoke Sauna, Snow Restaurant, Kota Restaurant in a traditional Lappish kota and the Main Restaurant in the main building.

The restaurants offer local Lappish specialities, like reindeer, different fishes and king grab from the Arctic Ocean. Also special diets, please mention before ordering. Our speciality is charcoal grilled salmon, which is grilled in front of your eyes, in one of our fireplaces. Experts have also appraised the wine cellar of the hotel. The accommodation can be booked either with half or full board or just with a plentiful breakfast.

In our Lapp Teepee, KOTA, restaurant we will have a nice Lappish dinner and Lapp evening with local people. While dinner you will hear stories about a way of life in Lapland, culture, tales about Sami life.

Capacity of the restaurants:

Savusauna Restaurant: 90 persons, on request
Snow Restaurant: 150 persons, open from December till April on request
Kota Restaurant: 50 persons, on request
Main Restaurant: 195 persons

Besides restaurants we have a Piano bar, where the guest can enjoy the evening. Remember to try our special Lappish drinks like Raakku, Kultakurkku or Champanskaja directly from Russia. At the selected times live piano music.
