Lake Inari Nature Paradise
In addition to the Hotel & Igloo Village Kakslauttanen we have our own fishing and nature paradise on an island in Lake Inari, which is the holy lake of Sami people.
Our nature paradise is called "Paratiisi" and it is situated on Leviä Petäjä Island. On the Island there is fishing boats, canoes and rowing boats for free use. This island has good opportunities for fishing, but also to pick up berries and mushrooms. Basically it feels like you would have an Island of your own.
It is possible to make just a one-day tour to the Paratiisi or stay there several nights in our log Cabins. In the island of Leviä Petäjä there is also possibility to use sauna. The Island is in the middle of lake and totally surrounded by wilderness. This also means that you will have to make some compromises on luxuries of a normal life e.g. that the toilets are traditional Finnish outdoor toilets and the food is made either by using gas or by the open fire. But does this mean that this makes your holiday less enjoyable? We truly believe that not - VICE VERSA!
